I've Been Waiting For You

This is a classic horror film plot with lots of jumps & scares. It features Markie Post and Soleil Moon Frye and is about a family who moves into an old creepy house in a New England town. (All the elements for danger!!)

The house itself was quite important as a character in this story and we thought it should have its own theme. The main musical voice in the score was piano - embellished by the orchestra. We used some unusual ambient textures & created some disturbing sounds with backwards voices, effects & filtered samples. (...if you play the score in reverse you might hear “Saturday In The Park” by Chicago!!) It was also fun to do several of the chase scenes which had a hint of comedy in them.

This was the 5th film we have done for director Christopher Leitch and the first we have done for Producer Bonnie Raskin. The orchestra was recorded at The Complex in Santa Monica, CA. and engineered by Robert Fernandez. Robert Peterson was the concertmaster and contractor. I've Been Waiting For You was an NBC Made For Television Movie.
