Crowned and Dangerous

Starring Yasmine Bleeth & Jill Clayberg this was a movie about a beauty pageant gone way awry. It was filmed in a tongue in cheek manner & we approached the music from that perspective using pizzicato string passages with woodwinds, percussion & lots of quirky voices & samples.

We also wrote the opening song "Take A Bow" in a 40's big band style (vocals by Mike Magrisi) that takes place as the beauty pageant winner takes the obligatory walk down the aisle (and drops her crown!). It was always fun to get out of our studio for a day and be at the pre-records which in this case were hysterical. The film was directed by Christopher Leitch, our concertmaster was Robert Peterson and our music editor was Laurie Higgins Tobias.
